GREETINGS FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Welcome to the 2012-2013 school year! Sageville Elementary serves students from Preschool to Fifth Grade. Our school will continue to build great relationships with students, families, and our great city of Dubuque this year! Sageville will focus on student achievement in math and reading while maintaining a positive school culture and climate. We want to assure you that we will do our best for your child to experience academic, social, physical and emotional growth. These are just a few things which compliment a challenging and engaging curriculum at Sageville School.

With these all in place, we will ensure success for each and every child at Sageville. It’s your responsibility as a parent to keep in touch with us so that we know we are meeting your child’s needs. A powerful connection between home and school can’t be beat. We offer many regularly scheduled ways for you to know how your child is doing, but please contact us anytime you feel is necessary.

Sageville School is pleased to announce that we have received a grant from the Dubuque Racing Association in the amount of $9,700! The grant will be used to purchase hundreds of brand new library books. Next fall, watch for news about our Open House where parents and families will be invited to see our new library collection. Sageville School thanks the DRA for this amazing gift!
